Practical Radiation Oncology is associated with the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO). The journal publishes articles on the state-of-art radiation oncology practice, evaluates current practice and new techniques. The journal’s focus plays an important role in the continuing education of practitioners and trainees alike.
Dr. Kim is a Medical Physicist and Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology in the University of Washington School of Medicine. She is an expert in spatio-temporal optimization of radiotherapy, optimization of multi-modality radiation treatment regimens, and optimal cancer management using multiple modalities.
