The UW Department of Radiation Oncology’s Jing Zeng, M.D., assistant professor and physician, and Stephen Bowen, Ph.D., assistant professor and researcher, have been awarded a FLARE RT research grant to improve the treatment and outcome of lung cancer.

The UW Department of Radiation Oncology congratulates Dr. Minsun Kim on being awarded a prestigious grant by the National Science Foundation (NSF) for investigating, “Multi-Modality Optimal Radiation Treatments”. Dr. Kim’s funded NSF project work is a game changer for how optimized radiation therapy will be delivered in the future.

We are pleased to announce that Simon S. Lo, M.D., FACR, will join the UW Department of Radiation Oncology as professor and vice chair for strategic planning in July 2016.
