IF/THEN: She Can Change the World!
Our very own Jessica Fagerstrom is part of a national program called IF/THEN that is hoping to get more girls interested in STEM! One of their projects was to 3D print 100+ bright orange statues of the women in the group, each holding a prop about her career.
The Smithsonian hosted the whole collection in 2022, and the statues have traveled around the country after that!!
Pacific Science Center here in Seattle put together a “Science is for Everyone” exhibit and is now hosting six of the statues of women from the PNW, including mine for medical physics.
