Focus online magazine publishes article on work done by the Rad Onc team at the SCCA
On November 24, 2020 Elekta published an article in its Focus online magazine on the work done by the Rad Onc team at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance on implementing C-RAD’s Catalyst HD system to enable Surface Image Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT). This new technology uses in-room cameras to aid with exact and reproducible patient set up and continuous monitoring throughout radiation treatment. The system is designed to enable breath hold treatments, particularly for left sided breast, and obviates the need for set up tattoos for breast cancer patients.
