Sarah Layman, ARNP, MSN

Teaching Associate

I believe it is important to ensure the patients understands their disease and treatment options, so I strive to make things as understandable as possible. As the patient goes through treatment for brain tumors and head injury, it is important to make their “journey” as uncomplicated and comfortable as possible, being compassionate and supportive to all those who are impacted.

Patient Care Philosophy

Informed consent and patient participation in decision-making is very important. I enjoy keeping families and patients informed. Patients need compassion and support as they navigate our medical system.
