Dr. Zeng is a radiation oncologist who specializes in treating patients with lung cancer, thoracic malignancies, and genitourinary tumors, including prostate cancer, using the latest technologies and available clinical trials. She is the University of Washington Department of Radiation Oncology program and disease site lead for prostate cancer treated with protons. Dr. Zeng practices at UWMC and SCCA Proton Therapy Center.
Patient Care Philosophy
“The patient-physician relationship should be a team effort, working together to achieve the same goal. As the physician, I will help the patient understand the diagnosis and available treatment options. Ultimately, the patient chooses the treatment path, but it is my duty to ensure that patients have all the information needed to feel confident in the decision. Cancer is a frightening diagnosis, and even though I cannot always cure my patients, I will always care for each one.”
