Dr. Eric Ford Elected to Board of Directors for the American Association of Physicists in Medicine
Congratulations to Eric Ford, PhD, FAAPM, for his election to the Board of Directors for the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM). Dr. Ford is one of four outstanding medical physicists who are newly elected to this important position, which reflects his significant contributions and expertise in the field of medical physics in radiation oncology.
AAPM is the premier scientific and professional organization for medical physicists, scientists and related professionals, who are dedicated to ensuring accuracy, safety and quality in the use of advanced medical imaging and radiation therapy.
Dr. Ford is a Medical Physicist and Professor of Radiation Oncology in the University Of Washington School Of Medicine and a Fellow of the AAPM. He is an expert in quality and safety of radiation oncology, and experimental radiobiology.
